The Polar Express

Gramma, Grampa and I took the girls on the Polar Express train tonight. We traveled to the North Pole to visit Santa. On the way we had cookies and hot chocolate, read the story the Polar Express and sang Christmas songs with some jolly elves. Our friends Miss Ingrid, Carey, Lindsay and Olivia came along with us. It was a lot of fun and the girls got to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas this year.

GO DUCKS!!!!

Woo Hoo - the Ducks did it ... they beat USC! Go Ducks!!!

Halloween 2009

So I totally SUCK - my camera ran out of batteries so I was onl able to get a couple pictures of the girls. I do ave a couple of friends who took pictures. I am hoping to get some from them soon. We started our day by going to a Halloween carnival at the Jenkins Estate and then we went to a Harvest Festival at Ashlyn's friend Elizabeth's house and did some trick-or-treating with a group of 15+ kids. Then it was home to go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. I was pooped by the end of the day. Thanks goodness for daylight savings time - I really needed that extra hour especially since Brad was gone at the Oregon Ducks football game, I was all on my own.

The Blazer Game

We took the girls to their first Portland Blazer game. THey had a Blast - they loved it. We watch the Blazers beat the Nuggets (or as Ashlyn called them - the Chicken Nuggets. She is so silly). These are the hats that Ashlyn picked out for the two of them. The people that have the season tickets for the seats behind us have a son who runs the big "Jumboton" at all the games. Needless to say, the girls were up on the big screen twice tonight. They were so excited to see themselves up there. They can't wait to go again.

"Go Blazers" - can't you just hear her screaming that?

Ashlyn's Birthday Party at School

This is Ashlyn's birthday cake. It is made up of cupcakes. I figured this would be easiest for the teacher. Not to mention it is chocolate and Ashlyn wanted a chocolate cake since I would not let her have one at her party. I didn't want all the kids to get chocolate on their Halloween costumes. I promised she could have one for her school party.
