Ashlyn's Preschool Christmas Concert

Today was Ashlyn's Preschool Christmas concert. She and all her friends were so cute. They sang Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - they were fantastic! Here are some pictures from today.

2nD aNnUaL cOoKiE pArTy!

It's that time of year again - time for our 2nd annual cookie party. You could also call it a "frosting party" or "sprinkle party". I made about 7-8 dozen sugar cookies earlier this afternoon. 8 girls and Lukey arrived at 4pm and the festivities started. The kids had a great time decorating all the cookies. We had plenty of snacks and hot chocoate - can't wait to do it again next year! Thanks to all our friends for coming.

This is THE BIRTHDAY outfit from Gramma and Grampa that she asks to wear EVERY day! Gramma & Grampa took her shopping for her birthday and this is what she picked out all by herself.

She wears a leotard all the time! It is snowing outside and this is what she put on ... the girl is CRAZY!!

Our Christmas Tree

Today we went and got our Christmas tree. We went to a new tree farm this year. We had a lot of fun picking out the perfect tree. It was very cold, but they gave us hot apple cider to drink while searching for the perfect tree.

This is the tree daddy wanted to get, but the girls thought it was a little small.

Still looking. We went all the way to the back of the lot to make sure we saw all the trees before choosing the one!

Here it is BEAUTIFUL!

This is daddy's job - cutting down the tree. It is the girls job to yell TIMBER!!

Daddy is so strong! He carried the tree all the way back all by himself!

Congratulations Kenna

CONGRATULATIONS to our big girl Kenna - she made her First Reconciliation today. When I asked her what she talked to Father Dave about (what she asked to be forgiven for) she said: "Being mean to my mom & cutting my pants at school when I was supposed to be listening". There was so many things to choose from! We love you Kenna!!
