Oaks Park

We went to Oaks Park today with our old friends from The Children's Garden. Oaks Park is an amusement Park of old carnival rides that are there permanently. The girls had so much fun. Kenna's favorite ride was the volcano. That is the one that you stand up on and it goes around in a circle and tips on the side. Ashlyn is such a dare devil. I can't wait until she is old enough to go to Magic Mountain. She loved the "Zipper" ride. That is the one that is a ferris wheel with baskets that you sit in that go upside down. Every time we got to the top she would say "make us go upside down - THIS IS AWESOME". Both girls loved the roller coaster, the merry go round, the frog ride, the tug boat ride, and the Lewis & Clark adventure ride. Thanks to Jordan, Samantha and Cameron. Let's go again really soon!!

The Stern Wheeler

Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Linda took the girls on the big paddle boat up the Columbia River Gorge today. They loved it - it was so much fun. Take a look at the beautiful pictures below from their big adventure today. Thanks so much gramma, grampa & Auntie Linda.

Kenna's Birthay Party

This year Kenna had her birthday party at Safari Sams. It is a huge indoor jungle gym. She has been saying that this is where she wanted to have her birthday for over a year. All the kids had such a good time. Here are some pictures from her party.

Kenna's Birthday Tea Party

Gramma & Auntie Linda put together a tea party for Kenna for her birthday. Gramma made her little tea sandwiches, cookies, cream puffs, eclairs, fruit dipped in chocolate and more. Ashlyn & grampa also joined them. They had a wonderful time. Ashlyn is already planning her tea party with gramma.

Two days later I am driving the girls home from swimming lessons and I put on the Plain White Tees and guess what??

Poor Kenna!!

Kenna had a bad day today. We were leaving for day care and Kenna realized that she forgot her coloring book that she wanted to take with her upstairs in her bedroom. So up the stairs she went to get it and she slipped and did a faceplant into the stairs. It took us about an hour to get her calmed down, her lip to stop bleeding and for her to put Elmo on it (our ice pack). She kept saying that her mouth & teeth hurt so I decided to take her to see Dr. Muckerheidi - her dentist. Turns out that Kenna pulled the ligaments in her front upper teeth (who knew that we had ligaments around our teeth - I didn't). On the brighter side, she did not have to have stitches in her lip - yet! Life is so tough sometimes!!

The girls visit to Spokane

This past weekend the girls went with gramma and grampa to Spokane to visit my cousin Mike, his wife Kris and their kids - Jimmy, Anna & Brooke. The girls had so much fun. From what I understand - they swam in the pool, ate - swam and swam some more - then they went to bed and first thing in the morning they were up and ready to swim some more.

Isn't this so beautiful? Kris did this - I think it is amazing. I wish they lived closer so I could have her come to the girls birthday parties ... she really does a GREAT job. Check out some more below. THANKS KRIS!!!!
