It is that time of year again - time to work on our garden. This year we have added a border to it. thanks to Brad & Thor for hauling those HUGE railroad ties to the backyard - man those were heavy. We now have a raised garden.
The girls are having a great time watching everything grow. So far we have planted: peas (Ashlyn's favorites), tomatoes, watermelon, cucumbers, peppers, basil, and pumpkins (Kenna's favorites).
We can't wait for everything to grow. The girls are helping out by watering, letting us know if there is anything there yet and having a blast looking for bugs & worms. As they have learned from Mr. Mark (the worm guy) - worms are great for our garden!

Annika LOVES tomatoes. She MUST have gotten this from you, because Tony and I DO NOT like tomatoes. My mom says she remember you used to love to eat them like fruit, just as Annika does. She can't get enough of them, and we have to limit the amt that she eats, because they give her rashes when she eats SO many! She could live on tomatoes alone!
Aren't things like planting a garden so much funner when the kids get excited about it. Looks like a great garden you guys planted! If only they got excited to pull the weeds too!;)
