earth day 2010

Today was earth day. I picked the girls up from day care and took them out to dinner. While we were eating Kenna was telling me what she learned about earth day and what that meant. She asked if we could take a walk after dinner to pick up trash around our neighborhood. So we called Auntie Ana to see if they wanted to join us. So off we went ... Kenna, Ashlyn, Walter, Auntie Ana and I to pick up trash around the neighborhood. We had a great time and they can't wait to do it again. Happy Earth Day!!!

The Sullivans Came to Visit

The Sullivan clan came to visit over there Spring Break. They are now living in Canada. It was so good to see them. It has been over 6 years since we saw them last. The kids had a blast playing together. I just wish we would have had more time to spend visiting. I also wish I had taken some better pictures. These were all I could find on Brad's camera from right before they left. I hope we see them again sooner this time. Thanks for visiting - we love you!!

eAsTeR 2010

This Easter was torture on the girls. We do not let them go downstairs without us. Brad was teasing them - they woke up at 6am and he wouldn't get up until well after 9:30. They did sneak down a few times - but I made them come back up and wait every time.

Decorating Eggs

This year Bella and Ryan came over to decorate Easter eggs with us. We had so many eggs and so many different decorating tools, colors and stickers. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait to do it again next year. Take a look at the pictures below from the fun times we had!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

The girls and I went to the annual Alpenrose Dairy Easter Egg Hunt again this year. It was too bad that it was raining - but the girls had a good time anyway.

I am so glad that we ran in to some old friends on our way out. You have to park in a big field and it was very muddy! My car got stuck and about 6 guys came over to help push me out. I wish I would have taken a picture of the car after - it was sooo muddy with lots of hand prints. It was kinda funny! Thanks to Russ and all the other guys for helping this lady is distress and 2 girls who were scared that we would be stuck there FOREVER!!
