Another One Bites the Dust!

Kenna has lost another tooth. That makes all four teeth in the front gone. She pulled this last one out all by herself and didn't even realize it. We were at the pharmacy waiting for her perscription and the gal at the desk asked her if she wanted a tissue because she heard Kenna say that it was too slippery. She came over and handed me the tissue and I realized that there was blood on it - so I opened it and the tooth fell out, bounced off the counter onto the floor on the other side of the desk. The guy behind the desk had to crawl all over the floor to find it while Kenna was crying because she thought it was gone forever. She was worried that the toothfairy was not going to come. He found it and all was good again. That is except - Kenna cried all the way out the store "make it grow back, make it grow back right now!".

Brad's 40th Birthday Bash

He is Over the Hill - Brad turned the BIG 40 on September 24th. We had a big party for him here at the house because there was no way we were going to get him to go anywhere else. We were supposed to have a taco truck here, but they disappeared from me the week before the party. Luckily I was able to find a very good Mexican food restaurant that was willing to help me keep with the theme and have the tacos for all our guests. We had 2 pinata's - one for the kids and one for the adults (thanks Kevin). Brad had a good time at the party he didn't want to have. He and his friends stayed up playing drinking games till 3:00am. Just like old times ... I guess they never do really grow up - do they?

Kenna Starts First Grade

Our big girl in now a first grader and Cooper Mountain Elementary school. She is in Mrs. Bissel's class. The one thing she can't wait for this year is she gets to eat lunch in the cafeteria with all the big kids! This year she will have gym and music - she is so excited about that. She loves school and can't wait to be able to read all by herself.
